Top 10%

What do you do to retain your top 10% of your employees. They set the benchmarks which drives the rest of the 90% of the employees. Here is an organization which says that their attrition is low and they don't pay well. There is no difference between top and average performer, people stay here for years and loyalty is termed as the number of years you stay in that organization. It continued to lose most of the top 10% and the balance became average performers because there is no reason for them to perform. Result is that the benchmarks are far lower than the competition and the entire organization got into a spiral of bad performances resulting in lower pay and further exodus of best performers.

First find a way out to identify the top 10%, some of them are hard workers, consistent performers, some of them are rebels, disruptors. Then find a way to retain them and finally find a way to get the best out of them.

And the top 10% also holds good for the customers and  your entire supply chain. What are we doing about it..

Loyalty

What is that, is that saying "yes" to your superiors or  perfect alignment with the organization or working hard as you can..

My definition of loyalty is doing "what is right for the organization" even if it means say "no" to your CEO and not getting aligned with the organization..

Memory of the cell

Thanks to Sadguru..

Every cell has a memory called heriditary memory that  is inherited  from your forefathers and that is much more than your brain memory. And that forces you to be like your father or ancestors. Break your natural tendencies, else you ll become like your father or grandfather..

Corporate Rebels

They are not in alignment with the organization, they know the exact misalignment of the organization from the right path. They are dead on the day they are forced to align because they know they are not doing what is right.

The organization always wins the race, Rebels don't budge, they move out in most of the cases and the organization never gets aligned.

It's very easy to identify these rebels, they are the immediate supervisor's nightmare, the one who don't fit the hole, the one who is unsettled. The organization need to just get aligned with these rebels, that encourages more rebellion and more so the organization gets aligned to the right path..

Logic

Inspiration from sadguru..

We live & die with our own limited logic and that holds good for everyone. And we should know, that our logic is limited and try ways & means of expanding that logic! that's your bandwidth, that's your playing arena and that's your world. You can confine yourself to to your heriditary memory & thoughts or expand yourself to the entire cosmos. So always keep your eyes & ears open, listen & learn, let it be from any source..
